  • are comfortable with online learning and assessments, and
  • have difficulty getting to a training location (regional and remote).

Units of Competence

Upon successful completion of this course, a statement of attainment will be issued with the following units of competence:

Engage in a completely online / virtual training course that eliminates the necessity for traditional classroom face-to-face settings. This ground breaking method merges interactive, self-paced online learning with webinar-style instruction and practical evaluations guided by qualified trainers. Your resource kit, including a training manikin and other training resources, will be posted directly to you.

How to Register

There are three easy steps to register and complete a virtual first aid or CPR course:

Step 1
Register in a course
  • From the course list below, select ‘Register’ and complete the online registration.
  • We will post your resource kit to you (which contains the things you need for the virtual session) immediate after you register.

Step 2
Complete the online learning
  • Log into the Learner Portal and complete all the activities in the Learning Plan
  • While you wait for your resources kit to arrive.

Step 3
Attend a virtual session
  • Attend the virtual session with your resource kit and participate in the activities.

Technology requirements:

You will need access to a computer (laptop or desktop is recommended) with a webcam and a sufficient stable internet connection for online meetings. Your webcam will need to be position so the trainer can have clear view of you undertaking all activities.

How it Works

On successful completion, you will get a statement of attainment with the following units of competence:

For Virtual First Aid

For Virtual Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

The statement of attainment will be issued by email within 30 days of course completion, however just let us know if you need it quickly.

The Learning & Assessment Method

The course is broken into two parts:

Part 1: The online module, which will take approximately four (4) hours and can be done over multiple sessions. You will need to successfully complete this in your own time, prior to attending the Virtual Session. You can complete this at home, at work or anywhere you have a suitable internet connection.

Part 2: The virtual training session usually lasts:
– For Virtual First Aid: Three and a half hours (3.5 hrs).
– For Virtual CPR: One (1) to two (2) Hours
You will complete instructor led activities using the resource kit we will post to you. To successfully complete this course, you must demonstrate competence in each of the activities.
